Cut my hair!

Another show, another hair cutter, another hair cut for me. This time it was Dina Rossiter's turn to have a shot at clipper cutting ClipperGuy... and a fine job she did.
Thank you Dina for a strong event in San Jose and a great clipper cut.

Hair was 'a flying!... Backhand

At a recent Andis hands-on workshop the hair was everywhere as educators with a school chain participated. These cutters were putting their clippers through a backhand layering technique. Although the technique was brand spankin' new for all they got right into it quite quickly and were running away with it. The link HERE is a video for you on backhand cutting so you can get into the technique, too!

90, 90, 90

Uniform layering is a basic of my live demonstrations. Backhand cutting is the way I teach the effect. In this class I had demoed the backhand layer technique and was making the point about checking your work. We can NOT check the live clients this way... but if we could... :)

MVP in action

Hands on workshop recently... A participant had an Andis MVP they had purchased at the Bronner show. I had one I lent to another participant. Both spent the entire workshop raving about this clipper. MVP has got some serious word-of-mouth mojo going on. It is fun to hear the feedback. Here are shots of the Andis MVP in action. Backhand cutting is easy due to the size, shape and rubber overmold grip of the MVP housing.
