clipper business tip week 20, 2010

Here is your Ivan Zoot / ClipperGuy / Andis business builder tip of the week for week 20, 2010

Celebrate firsts – First haircuts for little guys are a cultural rite of passage. Make a celebration out of these events. Snap a photo to be displayed on the wall in the shop. Make a second one to be given to mom on the next visit. Have small coin envelopes on hand for a few keepsake clippings. First haircut certificates can be simple, low cost fun. You can be sure Grandma, Grampa and many other relatives will see this marketing piece in the weeks that follow.

Don't we all remember our first haircut... the first haircut of our kids, etc.?
celebrate this... Sellebrate this too!

clipper business tip of the week, week 19, 2010

Here is your Ivan Zoot / Andis / ClipperGuy buisness builder tip of the week for week 19, 2010.

Ask for referrals – Ask every client to refer a friend. There is no simpler way to build business. Do not feel you are above asking. People like to refer their friends and family to service providers that they enjoy. Print special referrer cards to pass out. There is no need to pay a referral bounty, but in some cases a referrer discount as a thank you is a great incentive.

it does not get more back-to-school basic than this one.
